Chronic Illness
I’ve lived with IBD (ulcerative colitis) and arthritis (ankylosing spondylitis and others) for many years. For me, life with chronic illness has meant countless appointments, pain, fatigue, diets and supplements, emotions, medications, side-effects, tests and procedures, research, loss of income, and missed time with friends and family. The bright side in my journey has always been caring family and friends and the amazing caregivers, advocates, and members of the chronic illness community!
If you or someone you care about lives with IBD and/or arthritis, check out these helpful resources and organizations. Thank you to everyone who supports these groups through service, donations, and kindness.
